About the project
PGPodcast is a Polish language audio interview show on business and science topics. The client approached us with an existing website on the Webflow platform, which he couldn’t independently modify. Our task was to transfer it to WordPress while maintaining the current appearance, but with consideration for the client’s vision of improved functionality.

- The challenge was to maintain the existing design while transferring to a flexible WordPress platform. The client with a background in design had a clear vision of improved functionality.
- We conducted a 1:1 migration of the website from Webflow to WordPress, building from a dedicated, lightweight theme based on Advanced Custom Fields.
- We designed and implemented a dedicated newsletter subpage that serves the full function of a landing page and for marketing campaigns is integrated with the MailerLite system.
- We created an intelligent popup for newsletter signup, which appears when a user tries to leave the website and remembers their interaction to avoid displaying again.
Our collaboration has an ongoing character of strategic technical support. We regularly administer the website and implement minor improvements, allowing the client to fully focus on creating content.
Proposed solutions and final result
We focused on giving clients full freedom and control over their platform. The goal was to replace the closed Webflow system with a flexible and efficient WordPress solution that can be easily edited without coding knowledge.
- We ensured clients have full autonomy in content management. Thanks to building the website based on „blocks” (ACF modules), the client can independently build and modify subpages, maintaining full consistency with the graphic design.
- We conducted a seamless migration with SEO preservation, transferring the website to new technology without any negative impact on its position in search engines.
- We implemented professional email marketing tools. A dedicated landing page and intelligent popup, integrated with MailerLite, became an effective mechanism for expanding the subscriber base.
- We created a centralized system for managing social media links, which makes maintaining current data and follower counts on the website easier.
The effect of our work is a professional and fully editable platform that gives clients independence and an effective tool for developing the podcast brand. Our ongoing technical support allows them to fully focus on creating valuable content.
Used tools
In the project, we focused on maximum minimalism and efficiency. The entire website was built based on clean WordPress code and one key plugin for content management.
- Dedicated WordPress theme: We built a custom, ultra-lightweight theme from scratch, devoid of unnecessary plugins, which guarantees maximum speed and platform security.
- Flexible content management (ACF): We used the Advanced Custom Fields plugin as the only tool for building website structure, which gave the client full control over editing content in a system of modular „blocks.”
- Newsletter system integration (MailerLite): We ensured full and seamless integration of forms and popups with the external MailerLite email marketing system.
- SEO optimization: We implemented best on-page practices and structured data to maintain and strengthen podcast visibility in search results.
